“When death do us part – a celebration of life” is an exhibition that was shown at the Värmland Museum September 8 to November 11 2012th. We wanted to talk about different times and religions, but above all, we wanted to highlight the idea that human similarities basically is greater than our differences.

The spatial concept is based on the idea of moving “six feet under”. The visitor moves in a dark collonade crowned by an avenue of dead trees with shadows silhouetted on the ceiling and surrounding walls. The exhibition is viewed out of the dark core against the sides of the space. At the end of the movement along the narrowing row of collumns is a dazzling light fund resembling the “heavens gate”.
